Graduated in architecture from the Warsaw University of Technology. In 1962 he also graduated in graphics from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź and at the EAS in Warsaw. Juror of international biennials and competitions. He has practised painting, artistic and applied graphics and drawing. His work belongs to the genre of geometric abstraction, based on mathematical precision and analysis of the function of digits in a plastic structure. He has had more than 40 solo exhibitions at home and abroad. Major awards: 1974 – Bronze Medal at the 13th Joan Miro International Drawing Competition in Barcelona, 1979 Grand Prix – 2nd Quadriennale of Polish Woodcut and Linocut in Olsztyn, 1999 – Gold Medal – 12th Norwegian International Triennale of Graphics, Fredrikstadt.
